There are several methods of rearing orphan or surplus lambs. The
'pros' and 'cons' of the most widely used systems are discussed in this
section. All systems require high levels of hygiene for best results. A
well organised rearing system can save hours of time and produce quality
lambs that may otherwise have been lost.
The methods you choose will probably relate to the number of lambs you
expect to rear artificially. A good system, combined with good milk
replacer and good husbandry can pay dividends.
