INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Always finish your silo with a rounded face on top
- Cover silage pit immediately after filling with plastic 500 gauge silage sheet, preferably two layers – using your old sheet on top.
- Sheeting must overlap down the side walls to create an air tight seal.
- Roll out the Volac Topcover ensuring good overall coverage and overlap at the edges and at any joins. The covers should overlap each other by ½ metre.
- Place Volac Topbags on top of the cover at 5 metre intervals and along all edges of the clamp.
STORAGE OF VOLAC TOPCOVER FROM YEAR TO YEAR
- Fold the covers, store in shed and prevent vermin nesting in them.
- The covers can be stored wet without problems
- Clean, if necessary, by hosing with water.

- Fill 2/3 full with pea sized gravel and seal with tie
- Reduce risk of wire in cattle from degraded tyres.
