Food Europe points to the benefits of whey protein for seniors

Life long health is becoming more important as the number of older people in the population rises.  The article raises the importance of nutritional whey protein in the diet throughout the lifespan for optimal health. In addition protein requirements increase as individuals age in order to maintain mobility and health.  Despite this some protein rich foods present problems with practicality and present an opportunity for food and drinks manufacturers to produce products with the correct level of protein for senior nutrition. 

The article highlights the advantages of nutritional whey protein and the potential applications for food and drinks manufacturers.
