Volac will demonstrate clear advantages of whey protein for RTD exercise recovery at Vitafoods 2011

Volac, leader in high performance dairy nutrition, will showcase the potential of its whey protein isolate to the active nutrition sector at this year’s Vitafoods at the Palexpo in Geneva on 10-12 May. 

Volac will be promoting its prototype drinks, which have been specifically developed for the show.  Visitors to Vitafoods will have an opportunity to see for themselves the clarity Volactive Hydrapro brings to protein-fortified water-based beverages. 

Volac will also be using this exhibition to highlight its latest research which clearly reveals the emergence of mainstream market potential for exercise recovery products based on protein.  No other protein has been proven more effective than whey protein for rapid muscle recovery.  It is one of the fastest proteins to be absorbed, and contains the highest levels of leucine – an amino acid which has been shown to be the trigger for muscle protein synthesis.  But in clear protein beverages, maintaining consistent clarity throughout the product shelf life has been a challenge for manufacturers of water-based drinks up until now.
